Social Media Zero Tolerance Policy
Manor House Surgery operates a social media Zero Tolerance Policy in respect of registered patients posting derogatory comments about the practice and/or members of our practice team.
If any such posts are brought to our attention and be deemed as defamatory towards the organisation or any member of our team, they will be viewed as a clear breakdown in the doctor-patient professional relationship and may result in the individual being removed from our practice list.
Where patients wish to raise concerns, we encourage them to do this directly with the practice where members of our management team are available to discuss, explore and resolve any issues at hand. We also have a clear complaints procedure, details of which are available on our website or at any of our 3 sites.
We welcome all feedback as it gives us the opportunity to review the services that we provide and, where necessary or appropriate, make changes or improvements.
Posting derogatory or offensive comments online can cause unwarranted distress to our practice, our patients and our staff.
We therefore kindly request that this route of feedback is not undertaken by patients and that the practice is contacted directly to enable us to investigate and respond. You can do this by:
· Face to face contact with a member of our management team
· Telephone the practice and tell us your concerns
· Email your concerns to: ddicb.complaints.manorhouse@nhs.net
PLEASE CONSIDER THE IMPACT OF YOUR ONLINE ACTIVITY BEFORE YOU POST A COMMENT.
