We provide specialised clinics where you can access high quality care specific to your needs.
Chronic Disease Clinics
If you have a chronic condition such as asthma, copd or diabetes or have a history of heart disease or stroke then we will ask you to attend one of our regular clinics for these diseases. When your regular check up is due, you will receive reminder letters from the surgery asking you to make an appointment in one of these specialist clinics.
Well Man and Well Woman Clinics
If you feel you need a general check up and advice on your health and lifestyle then you can book a well person appointment with one of our practice nurses. These appointments are for all ages.
If you are between 40 and 74 and do not have any chronic disease (eg asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease), you can book a Health Status Check with one of our Health Care Assistants. Family Planning and Smears
Family Planning appointments are available in our special Thursday Evening Family Planning Clinics. 5.30 - 7.30pm . A smear clinic is also held at the same time on Thursdays.
Smears can also be booked during routine nurse surgeries
Child and Baby Immunisations
These clinics are held on Friday afternoons. It is important for baby's long term health that s/he is vaccinated. If you receive a reminder that a vaccination is due then please make sure you contact the surgery to make an appointment
Smoking Cessation Clinics
Clinics are held at both our Hadfield and Glossop sites. If you are serious about wanting to give up smoking you can self refer to one of our clinics. Please ring reception to book an appointment
Weight Management Clinics
Clinics are held at both Hadfield and Glossop. Please ring reception to make an appointment with one of ou Health Care Assistants for weight managelent advice and continuing weight loss support
Other Special clinics
Manor House surgery provides ultrasound scans, echocardiography, dermatology, minor surgery and joint injections for Glossop and Hadfield patients and also for patients of other surgeries in the locality. You need to be referred by your GP to these clinics
