The practice records data such as height, weight, smoking status, alcohol consumption and ethnicity in order to maintain up to date and accurate medical
records for all its patients. If you are not a regular attender at the surgery you may be asked this information during your consultation with a clinician, even if it does not relate to the problem you originally came in for.

Medical Students

Fifth year medical students, in their final year pre qualification, are working with us August to March each year. If you do not want a medical student to be present at your consultation, please let reception staff know.

You may use prescription voicemail to request repeat prescriptions at any time but if you wish to speak to a receptionist to order or query prescriptions or to ask for test results, please telephone after 11am.

Manor House Surgery – Glossop
By Road: Head east on M67 motorway for 2.4 miles. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Hyde Rd/A57 heading to Barnsley/A628/Sheffield/A616/Glossop/Staylybridge/B6174. Continue straight on this road for 1.3miles. At the 3rd set of traffic lights, turn right onto Woolley Ln/A57 and follow the signs for Glossop. Continue on the A57 for 2.7miles, passing the Esso garage, The Leisure Centre & Kwik Fit on the right. At the Manor Inn public house turn left onto Manor Street. Manor House Surgery Glossop is situated behind the Manor Inn public house.
By Train: From Glossop train station, head southeast along Norfolk Street/B6105 for 676ft. Turn right at High Street East/A57. Continue straight along the A57 for 0.1miles, passing the Esso garage, The Leisure Centre & Kwik Fit on the right. At the Manor Inn public house turn left onto Manor Street. Manor House Surgery Glossop is situated behind the Manor Inn public house. For further information, please contact train enquiries on 0845 748 4950.

Manor House Surgery – Hadfield                                                                                                                     By Road: Head east on M67 motorway for 2.4 miles. Turn right at Salisbruy Street. Continue along this street for 420ft, then turn left at station road. Continue straight along Station Road for 0.1miles. Turn right toward Brosscroft and continue straight for 0.2miles. Turn right at Brosscroft. Continue straight along Brosscroft for 0.2miles.
